Track Review – ‘Count Down From Ten’ by Oskar Braves

Fife lads David Stevens, Conor Young, Andrew Davidson, Connor Marnie and Grant Allan make up this wonderful five piece the Oskar Braves. We first saw them live when they were supporting Prides alongside Indigo Velvet at Dunfermline venue PJ Molloys (one of my favourite wee venues for live music) in December last year.

Oskar Braves have also supported bands such as Catfish and the Bottlemen, Blossoms and Embrace to name a few.

Count Down From Ten is a rocky ballad on the subject of love/breaking up. Recorded and produced at Substation Studios by Michael Brennan Jnr and mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Noel Gallagher), Count Down From Ten starts with a countdown from 10 to 1 which is poignant to the song.

With great lyrics and an epic chord combination and vocals, it’s a catchy wee number and I can see T and I belting out together in the front row as we do.

Have a listen on their Soundcloud here.
